Privacy at a Glance
We respect your privacy. When you share your information with us - whether by signing up, donating, or volunteering - we use it only for campaign purposes. We do not sell or trade your information, and we only share it with trusted providers who help us run the campaign. Donation information may be reported publicly as required by Colorado campaign finance law. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you sign up for our newsletter, make a donation, or contact us. This information may include:
Contact Information: Your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number.
Donation Information: When you make a donation, you provide your payment information directly to our third-party payment processor, Anedot. We do not store your credit card details on our servers. We only receive a record of the donation, which includes your name, contact information, and donation amount.
Automatically Collected Information: Our website is hosted on Squarespace, which may automatically collect certain technical data (such as IP address, browser type, device information, and browsing behavior) to help the platform function effectively and provide us with analytics about website traffic.
2. How We Use Your Information
We are committed to using your information for campaign purposes only. Specifically, we may use it to:
Send you email updates and news about the campaign.
Respond to your questions and comments.
Process your donations and send confirmation/thank-you notes.
Ask for your support, such as volunteering or donating.
Analyze website traffic to improve performance and user experience.
Measure the reach and effectiveness of our digital communications and advertising
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal contact information with any other organization, campaign, or third party.
The only exceptions are our trusted service providers who help us operate our campaign. These include companies such as:
Squarespace – our website host.
Google Workspace – our email provider.
Anedot – our secure payment processor for donations.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) – our digital advertising partner
GoodParty – our text messaging service provider
These service providers have access to your information only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to use it for any other purpose. When you donate, you are also subject to Anedot’s privacy policy.
Text Messaging and Good Party
We partner with GoodParty, a campaign technology platform, to send text messages to registered voters and campaign supporters. GoodParty may use publicly available voter information from the Colorado voter file or other lawful data sources to contact voters on our behalf.
These text messages provide information about Hadley Solomon’s campaign, election updates, and opportunities to get involved. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply.
GoodParty provides texting services to many campaigns. For our outreach, GoodParty uses voter information it lawfully obtains or that we provide to create and send messages on our behalf. GoodParty is not permitted to sell our campaign’s lists, and it is not permitted to use our campaign’s data for other clients. GoodParty may maintain separate datasets and logs for each client as part of its service operations and compliance.
Recipients may reply STOP at any time to opt out of receiving further text messages.
4. Legal Disclosures for Contributions
Please note that state and federal campaign finance laws require us to report donor information (including name, address, occupation, and employer) to the Colorado Secretary of State. This information becomes part of the public record.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies to improve functionality, analyze traffic, and measure the effectiveness of our communications. You can adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies if you prefer, but some features of the site may not function properly.
Meta Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors engage with our site and to measure the effectiveness of our ads on Facebook and Instagram. This helps us track actions such as when someone visits our site after seeing an ad and improve the relevance of our outreach. Meta may link this information with your Meta account in accordance with its own Data Policy.
We do not receive or store personal data from Meta. We see only aggregated metrics such as page views and conversions.
Ad Preferences and Opt-Out Options
You may see our campaign messages on Facebook or Instagram. These platforms use cookies and similar technologies to deliver ads based on your activity and interests. You can control how Meta personalizes ads by updating your ad settings directly:
Opting out of personalized ads does not mean you will see fewer ads. It only affects how ads are selected for you. These settings are account-specific, so you may need to review them for each Meta account you use.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention
We retain supporter and donor information for as long as necessary to comply with campaign finance laws and to support campaign activities.
9. Children’s Privacy
This website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Your Choices
You can unsubscribe from our email list at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any campaign email we send.
11. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated date.
